Andrea Mudbidri is a Sydney based Actress, Writer and Director. Growing up in a primarily Spanish speaking household full of creatives it is no wonder Andrea was drawn to the world of creating. She honed her craft at Screenwise Film & Television School and is represented by Linsten Management.
Andrea’s debut short film Bedbound earned accolades at the Melbourne Women in Film Festival and won Best Editing at Bulgaria’s Golden Femi Film Festival.
A fearless storyteller, she is currently in post-production for two new shorts: Trash and Spanglish dramedy Everybody Gets Bored of Everything.
Andrea’s debut as a Writer and Director has garnered national and international success. Officially selected for Melbourne Women in Film Festival (2024), Knowmad Short Film Festival (2024, Germany), Lift Off Global Network Melbourne and Sydney (2023), Corsenal Production International Monthly Film Festival (2023, Italy) and as Winner for Best Editing at the Golden Femi Film Festival (2024, Bulgaria)
